The Korean Automakers « Hyundai Motor » and « Kia Corp » have agreed to a consumer class-action lawsuit settlement.
.The settlement is Worth more than 200$ million over rampant car thefts. Said the lawyers of the Korean automakers.
Back in February, The Korean automakers pledged software upgrades to 8.3 million U.S. vehicles, which system does not include Anti-Theft to help curb car thefts that went crazy using a popular social media method.
About 9 million car owners in the United States will benefit from the settlement, avoiding personal losses totaling about $145 million. lawyers added.
